TASTING NOTES
The 2020 Reserve Petit Verdot has a very deep dark purple/black color that comes close to that of the Reserve Petite Sirah. The hues are bright and youthful. Aromatically this wine is loaded with concentrated, marionberry and black currant. The bouquet has a deeply toasted, almost roasted, oak character with notes of dark chocolate and smoke. On the palate, flavors of black fruits are presented by a big rich round wine with a creamy silky texture. The tannins are mature and well integrated, providing richness without astringency. This is a very satisfying wine that has the unique combination of the zest and succulence of youth and the grace and elegance of age.
